1-10 Prayer

  1. For 2-3 minutes a day, just be still and think about the Lord. Doing this will help your spirit open up to Him.
  2. You can pray by using simple language. Tell Him about everything you have in mind. You may speak to Him in your own words for He understands you.
  3. You can pray all the time in any place. For example: in the car or at work. You can do this by closing your eyes for a moment, being aware that God is close to you. This will help you feel that He is always with you.
  4. When you pray, don’t just ask, but thank Him for His blessings. Most importantly, prayer is a two-way communication. Don’t do all the talking, but also learn listen to God’s voice.
  5. Pray with faith, believing that your prayers will be answered and will be done according to God’s Will.
  6. When you pray, don’t be negative. Be positive instead.
  7. Be open and receive God’s Will. Tell Him your needs, but be prepared to receive the answer to your prayers, although it may be different from what you ask but it will be the best for you.
  8. Learn how to surrender everything into God’s Hands. Pray that God will give you the ability to do best, but confidently leave the results to God’s will.
  9. Pray for those you don’t like or those who do bad things to you. Bitterness is the number one hindrance to your soul.
  10. Make a list of the people you pray over. The more people you pray for, the more fruit or your prayers will return to you.
